A Special Thank You to Our First Lincolnland Job Hub Employers

A Special Thank You to Our First Lincolnland Job Hub Employers

Recognizing the local businesses and organizations that saw the value in connecting local people with local opportunities—and were among the first to join us.

When Lincolnland Job Hub launched in September 2026, we had a simple goal: to make it easier for local employers and job seekers to connect right here in Spencer and Perry Counties, Indiana.

Starting something new always comes with a little uncertainty. You hope others will recognize the value in what you're creating, but you don't know who will be the first to come on board.

That's why we're especially appreciative of the businesses and organizations that saw the potential in Lincolnland Job Hub and chose to participate during our very first weeks.

Today, we'd like to recognize six of those early supporters: Louie's Tavern, Fat Santa's Pizza, Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Spencer County Bank, Superior Ag, and Thermwood Corporation.

Each represents a different part of our local economy, and each helped us begin building a community of employers and job seekers connected through one local platform.

Louie's Tavern — Fulda, Indiana

Small businesses are at the heart of our communities, and Louie's Tavern is a familiar gathering place in Fulda.

Local restaurants and taverns do more than serve food and drinks. They bring neighbors together, welcome visitors, and provide employment opportunities close to home.

Louie's Tavern was among the first businesses to come on board with Lincolnland Job Hub.

We're grateful for their early participation and for helping us introduce our job board to the local business community.

Fat Santa's Pizza — Santa Claus, Indiana

Restaurants are an important part of our local economy, offering employment opportunities for students, part-time workers, and experienced hospitality professionals.

Fat Santa's Pizza in Santa Claus was another of the first businesses to recognize the potential of Lincolnland Job Hub.

By participating early, Fat Santa's helped us begin connecting local restaurant employers with people looking for work in their own communities.

We appreciate their willingness to give a new local platform a chance.

Saint Meinrad Archabbey — St. Meinrad, Indiana

Saint Meinrad Archabbey has long been an important part of the St. Meinrad community, with a history and presence that extend well beyond Spencer County.

Behind the daily operations of an institution like Saint Meinrad are people with many different talents and skills.

Saint Meinrad Archabbey was among the first organizations to purchase a job listing on Lincolnland Job Hub.

For a newly launched job board, having an established local institution choose to participate was especially encouraging.

We're sincerely grateful for their support and confidence in what we're building.

Spencer County Bank — Spencer County, Indiana

Spencer County Bank has served our area for generations and understands the importance of strong local connections.

Community banking is built around relationships, trust, and a commitment to the people and businesses it serves.

Spencer County Bank was also among the first employers to purchase a job listing on Lincolnland Job Hub.

Their early participation was another encouraging sign that established local employers could see the value in a job board dedicated specifically to our communities.

We appreciate their support and their continued investment in the people of Spencer County.

Superior Ag — Southern Indiana

Agriculture has always played an important role in Southern Indiana, supporting families, businesses, and communities throughout the region.

Superior Ag is part of that agricultural tradition, offering services to the farming community and career opportunities across different areas of its organization.

Superior Ag was one of the first employers to come on board with Lincolnland Job Hub, sharing an internship opportunity with local job seekers.

Internships are especially meaningful because they can help students and young professionals discover career possibilities close to home.

We're thankful Superior Ag recognized the opportunity to reach local talent through our growing platform.

Thermwood Corporation — Dale, Indiana

Thermwood Corporation is an established manufacturing company based in Dale, Indiana, known for its industrial technology and equipment.

Manufacturing and skilled trades are important parts of Spencer County's economy, offering career opportunities for people with a wide range of technical and hands-on skills.

Thermwood was among the first companies to invest in one of Lincolnland Job Hub's employer packages, sharing multiple job opportunities with local job seekers.

Their participation was an exciting step forward for our new business and an opportunity to help connect an established local manufacturer with people interested in working closer to home.

We're grateful Thermwood chose to become part of Lincolnland Job Hub during these early weeks.

Different Businesses. One Shared Community.

One of the things we appreciate most about these first six employers is the variety they represent.

From locally owned restaurants and community banking to agriculture, manufacturing, and a long-established religious institution, each brings something different to our region.

Some are small businesses. Others are larger organizations with employees serving many different roles.

But they all recognized the value of connecting local employers with local people.

And that's exactly what Lincolnland Job Hub was created to do.

We believe people shouldn't have to search far and wide to discover opportunities that may be available right here in their own communities.

By bringing local job opportunities together in one place, we hope to make the process easier for both employers and job seekers.

Just the Beginning

Lincolnland Job Hub is still in its early stages, and we know there's much more ahead.

We're looking forward to welcoming additional employers, sharing more local opportunities, and continuing to build awareness throughout Spencer and Perry Counties.

Every business that chooses to participate helps make Lincolnland Job Hub a more valuable resource for our communities.

And while we're recognizing these first six employers today, we're equally excited about the businesses and organizations that will join us in the months and years ahead.
