Why We Created Lincolnland Job Hub
Why We Created Lincolnland Job Hub
A new local website, Lincolnland Job Hub, makes it easier to find jobs and connect with employers across Spencer and Perry Counties in Indiana.
In a small town, a job is more than a paycheck. It can mean a shorter drive, more time with family, and the opportunity to build a future without leaving the community you call home.
Lincolnland Job Hub was created right here in Southern Indiana to help make those opportunities easier to find. Whether you are looking for work in Rockport, Tell City, Santa Claus, Cannelton, or anywhere in between, Lincolnland Job Hub brings job openings from across Spencer and Perry Counties together in one convenient place.
It gives local residents a simpler way to find work close to home while offering area businesses a welcoming, affordable way to reach local candidates and others who would like to put down roots in our communities.
One Place to Find Work Close to Home
Finding a local job should not require searching dozens of individual company websites, social media pages, and large national job boards.
Lincolnland Job Hub brings nearby opportunities together so job seekers can spend less time searching and more time finding positions that truly fit their lives.
The website features full-time, part-time, seasonal, temporary, contract, and internship opportunities. Visitors can easily explore jobs in healthcare, manufacturing, education, hospitality, skilled trades, transportation, retail, office administration, and many other fields.
Jobs can be searched by keyword, job type, category, and town. Job seekers can also sign up for free email alerts to hear about new local openings as they are posted.
Browsing and applying are always 100% free for job seekers.
Whether someone is looking for a first job, returning to the workforce, ready for a career change, or simply hoping for a much shorter daily commute, Lincolnland Job Hub offers a welcoming place to begin.
Helping Local Businesses Find the Right People
For our local businesses, every opening matters. An unfilled position can stretch an entire team thin, and finding the right person is not always easy—especially when local openings can get lost among thousands of listings on large national job sites.
Lincolnland Job Hub keeps the focus close to home. It helps employers reach people who already live nearby, as well as candidates from surrounding communities who would like to work in Spencer and Perry Counties.
Employers can easily share job openings, explain the position, and direct candidates either through Lincolnland Job Hub or straight to the company’s own application page.
Every participating job posting also receives additional local promotion through Lincolnland Job Hub’s social media channels and the Local Jobs email. This helps businesses reach people who may not be actively checking major employment sites every day but would be interested in the right opportunity close to home.
To keep hiring affordable for our business community, employers can post a job during the Community Launch for just $35. This introductory package includes a 60-day listing, a direct link to the employer’s application page, organic social media promotion, and inclusion in the regional Local Jobs email.
The Community Launch offer is available through December 19, 2026.
